Location: Lacey, WA
Start Date: September 8, 2025 (or ASAP)
Contract Length: 21 Weeks (with possible extension)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide full-time services in an elementary school setting in Lacey, WA. This position is to cover a leave during the 2025–2026 school year and offers a supportive environment ideal for SLPs who are passionate about student development and speech-language support within the educational system.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

EXPERIENCE:

  • School-based experience preferred but not required
  • Clinical Fellows (CFs) not accepted for this role

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Strong understanding of IEP development and delivery
  • Ability to work independently and manage a school-based caseload
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Experience with elementary-aged children and diverse populations
Responsibilities
  • Provide speech and language services to elementary school students with varying communication needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy sessions
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
  • Travel between student homes or job-related sites as needed during the workday
