MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY, ACTIVE SLP LICENSE AND 1+ YEAR OF SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

A school-based Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 academic year in Aurora, IL. This full-time, contract position serves K-12 students with a caseload of 35-40, primarily at one to two elementary sites. The role offers a balanced workload with a home-based schedule and a supportive environment, including supervision for Clinical Fellows (CFY).

Key qualifications and experience:

  • Valid SLP certification: CCC, CFY, or School-based licensure
  • Bilingual Spanish-English skills required for two positions; one monolingual position also available
  • Comfort working with elementary-age children in speech and language therapy
  • Clinical Fellow candidates are encouraged to apply, as supervision will be provided
  • Commitment to a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week under W-2 employee status

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring for K-12 students
  • Collaborate with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies
  • Participate in scheduled orientation prior to the start of the school year
  • Manage caseload efficiently across 1-2 assigned sites

Location and schedule:

  • Aurora, Illinois
  • Contract dates from August 4, 2025, to May 19, 2026
  • Full-time, annual school year contract with medical insurance benefits offered
