Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital; Fort Smith Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Inpatient Rehabilitation, PRN Location: 6700 Chad Colley Boulevard, Fort Smith, AR 72916 Schedule: Part-time | Flexible Schedule | 1 weekend (Saturday or Sunday) a month and at least 1 holiday a year. What You’ll Do * Evaluate speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using evidence‑based assessment tools. * Develop and deliver individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals. * Educate and empower patients and their families to understand therapy objectives and support progress. * Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient outcomes with accuracy and clarity. * Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated, patient‑centered care. * Contribute to additional clinical duties as needed to support smooth operations. What You Bring * Education: Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology. * Experience: Background in acute care or rehabilitation settings preferred. * Licensure: Current SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC‑SLP). * Certifications: Active CPR certification. * Skills: Strong communication abilities, sound clinical judgment, and a commitment to patient success.
