Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and various healthcare information systems. E xcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, applying sound judgment in clinical decision-making. Essential Junctions Demonstrates the ability to evaluate patients, plan care, provide treatment, assess progress, adjust goals and treatment plans, and make discharge recommendations as per the American Speech Language Hearing Therapy Association (ASHA) guidelines. Ensures consideration of the age and developmental level of patients in all aspects of care. Demonstrates current knowledge and expertise in patient care. Responds to new evaluations within the specific time frame stated in the Policies and Procedures for various areas of work. Remains alert to changes in patients’ conditions and the work environment, responding appropriately. Provides accurate, timely, and consistent documentation of patient care, patient/family education, and response to care in the medical record. Ensures all patient care goals are measurable and include a specific timeframe for attainment. Plans, provides, and maintains a safe environment for patients, staff, and families. Master's Degree in Speech Pathology Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Florida. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
