Based in Tamworth, you will provide support to NDIS participants across the broader Tamworth region, including Watsons Creek, Upper Manilla, Gunnedah, Werris Creek, Wallabadah, and surrounding areas. Your coverage area will depend on where you live, and you will work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary allied health team. You'll support participants in childcare centres, schools, aged care facilities, day programs, the community, homes, and/or our clinic space. We offer an environment to learn and grow together, you'll have access to weekly supervision with your team leader, discipline specific team meetings, team building events, and regular CPD. Your role will include: Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services Our Early Years caseload (0-5) – Early intervention and parent coaching (including speech sounds, early language, feeding, school-readiness) School-aged children (5-18) – Literacy, social communication, speech, language, fluency, voice, feeding and AAC assessment and implementation. Adults – Functional communication, speech, language, fluency, dysphagia and mealtime management, neurodegenerative diseases, stroke and acquired brain injury rehabilitation.
