Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As a Grade 2 Speech Pathologist you would be responsible for the provision of acute assessment and management of adult inpatients with communication and swallowing disorders.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Assessment and management of swallowing and communication disorders in accordance with evidence-based practice
Provision of counselling and education regarding communication and swallowing disorders to patients and families
Work collaboratively with patients, carers and members of the multi-disciplinary team to achieve shared goals
Demonstrate professional, ethical and respectful behaviour and teamwork always in accordance with our core values and the Healthscope code of conduct.
