Job Summary: Evaluate and treat patients referred by licensed physicians in the following settings: Acute care, long-term care, outpatient, home health, and any contract site at which SHS provides service. Education: Required: Commensurate for licensure requirement. Preferred: Experience: Required: Preferred: Position Requirement(s): License/Certification/Registration Required: Must have an active license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina and any other state in which duties may be performed. Must have a valid drivers license and liability insurance as some duties may require travel from site to site or to patient's home. Preferred: Department Position Summary: Evaluate and treat patients referred by licensed physicians in the following settings: Acute care, long-term care, outpatient, home health, and any contract site at which SHS provides service. Assists in managing all clinical aspects of the Speech Therapy department including patient care and paper work. Performs an evaluation, determines plans of treatment, provides treatment, and modifies as indicated to reach established goals. Provides all patient care services in accordance with North Carolina law, facility/agency policies and directives of the Medical Staff.
