Description
Speech Pathologist - Telehealth / Community ($100 - $135* ph dependent on experience) Let’s be honest - you didn’t choose this profession to sit in rigid systems, burn out, or feel like “just another provider number.” You chose it to change lives, do meaningful work, and use your clinical expertise where it actually matters. That’s where CARED comes in. (*advertised rates are inclusive of GST) About CARED (aka the future of care) CARED is an innovative health tech ecosystem helping people take control of their health - right now. We connect high-quality clinicians with NDIS participants in real time, matching the right practitioner to the right person, every time. No cookie-cutter care. No mismatched caseloads. Just thoughtful, human-centred support - powered by smart tech. We’re growing fast, doing things differently, and building a community of clinicians who want flexibility without compromising quality. About the role (where your magic comes in) We’re looking for experienced Speech Therapists who bring both clinical excellence and genuine heart. These are hybrid roles - combine telehealth from your home (or private professional space) with community-based, face-to-face support where needed. You’ll work with a diverse and meaningful caseload, including: Comprehensive speech and language assessments and detailed reports Ongoing therapy for communication and swallowing difficulties Paediatric clients with speech sound disorders, language delays, and social communication challenges Adult clients requiring voice therapy or post-stroke rehabilitation Participants with psychosocial, intellectual, and physical disabilities impacting communication and feeding Ongoing support and therapeutic intervention Participants with progressive neurological conditions (eg: MS, Parkinson’s) Neurodiverse clients (autism, ADHD) We receive referrals for assessments, reports, and ongoing intervention, and we take the time to match you with clients aligned to your experience, interests and preferred demographics. Previous experience has shown us that participants who have one therapist for an assessment and another for ongoing therapy leads to a negative therapy journey experience and lack of continuity of care therefore at this stage we can only offer roles to those willing to provide assessments + ongoing therapy to our clients. You’ll never feel like you’re working alone - ongoing client support and a collaborative clinician community are part of the deal. Why you’ll love working with us Flexible hours - you choose when and how much you work Work from home and community-based sessions Innovative health tech environment (goodbye admin overload) Thoughtfully matched clients Work as little or as much as you want from anywhere in Australia Meaningful, values-driven work that actually makes an impact About you (aka our kind of human) You’re confident, compassionate, and clinically sharp. You value autonomy but love being part of something bigger. You’ll bring: A relevant tertiary qualification Ideally, you have at least 3 years of professional post-graduate experience Professional registration where applicable Experience working with NDIS participants / people with a disability Experience providing online therapy / telehealth And, as an Independent Contractor with CARED, you’ll need: Capacity to provide assessments & ongoing therapy. This is not an assessment only role A private, professional workspace with reliable internet, camera & mic Australian Business Number - ABN Appropriate business insurances (Professional Indemnity – PI, and Public liability - PL) This is an independent contractor opportunity, not a salaried or full-time employment position. Our role is to connect practitioners with clients and participants who require allied health services. We provide referrals that can help you grow and supplement your existing private practice, rather than guaranteeing a fixed caseload or income. This opportunity is best suited to practitioners seeking flexible work that complements an existing private practice, business, or employment arrangement, while maintaining full control over their schedule, workload, and service delivery. The bottom line At CARED, we don’t believe flexibility should come at the cost of clinical integrity - or vice versa. We believe you can: Do work that matters Be supported, trusted, and valued And still have a life outside your calendar If you’re ready to work in a way that feels aligned, modern, and genuinely impactful - we’d love to meet you. Join us Please note we do not offer sponsorship or relocation for roles at CARED.
