Get discounts on private health insurance, gym memberships and travel and so much more Your Role as a Speech Pathologist You’ll deliver person-centred services across aged care, disability, community services, and wellbeing settings. You’ll empower individuals to live more independently, safely, and meaningfully by: Provide speech, language, voice and swallowing assistance assessment and intervention to customers presenting with a wide range of needs; in and across aged care, disability, health and wellbeing, return to work and rehabilitation environments. Provide a consultancy service to relevant stakeholders regarding food texture modification that will enhance customer safety and function. Identify opportunities to provide other cross disciplinary services which may be of benefit to the customer. Facilitate accurate and timely receipting and data entry into relevant system/ Ensure that the customer is an active participant in the development and review of treatment goals and planning. Adopt and utilise a dynamic, mobile approach to customer service delivery. What We’re Looking For Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership to Speech Pathology Australia Ability and proficiency in the timely receipting, appropriate documenting and accurate record keeping into computerised programs. A high level of verbal and written communication skills particularly in establishing and maintaining rapport with staff, customers and their carers. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as a multi-disciplinary team member. Essential Requirements Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy) Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
