MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY, ACTIVE SLP LICENSE AND 1+ YEAR OF SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in early childhood to support an early childhood school setting located in Apex, NC. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, providing services to PreK-aged children. The role requires dedication to advancing communication skills and developmental milestones in a supportive environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred
• Valid license from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction
• Experience or eligibility for SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or School settings preferred

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in young children
• Develop individualized treatment plans to meet developmental goals
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote language development and social communication
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on each child’s needs
