MASTER’S DEGREE IN SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY, ACTIVE SLP LICENSE AND 1+ YEAR OF SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are needed for contract roles in the Tampa, FL area. These positions offer an excellent opportunity to provide essential speech services within a supportive educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech therapy services at Heritage Elementary (4 days/week) and Chiles Elementary (1 day/week); caseload may be combined or separated based on preference.
  • Conduct evaluations exclusively for 3-year-old children as part of the Child Find program to determine eligibility for ongoing speech services.
  • Collaborate with full-time district SLPs to support student communication development.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and communicate progress with educators and families.
  • Adhere to district policies and professional standards.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Florida SLP license.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience with early childhood speech evaluation and therapy preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite full-time with flexibility as needed.

Position Details:

  • Location: Tampa, FL (onsite at elementary schools).
  • Contract duration: Immediate start through May 23rd.
  • Work schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 7.5 hours per day.
  • Multiple positions available, including full-time and part-time options.
