Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and self-motivated Speech Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team on a contractual basis in the Gold Coast region. You will provide high-quality, evidence-based speech therapy services to NDIS participants, working collaboratively with families, carers, and other allied health professionals to support participants in achieving their communication and swallowing goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments.
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy plans in line with NDIS participant goals.
  • Provide therapy sessions in-home, in-clinic, or within the community as required.
  • Collaborate with families, carers, and support staff to embed strategies in daily routines.
  • Prepare progress reports and outcome measures in line with NDIS requirements.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary planning and case discussions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and supervision.
