Description Under the close supervision of a supervisory official in a state department, agency, or institution, learns to perform front-line and behind the scenes customer and other support services involving the review, processing and issuance of agency documents; provides information to customers regarding department/agency programs and services; does other related duties as required. Specific to the Position The candidate will be responsible for providing customer service to the general public and performing clerical duties. The State Park Office is open 7 days a week, year-round. Functions of the position include, but are not limited to registering campers, addressing issues with reservations, providing phone coverage, fielding complaints, collecting fees, selling State Park Passes and Park Merchandise, operating the toll booth, performing daily fiscal reports, compiling and submitting revenue and attendance reports. *Due to nature of the role, this position is performed exclusively on-site. Preferred Skill Set Microsoft Suite, including Outlook. Customer service training and experience - ability to effectively manage high volumes of phone and in-person inquiries. Ability to provide good customer service.
