JOB SUMMARY
This position provides coordination and oversight of SPH programs and activities related to student recruitment, engagement, persistence, academic success, and long-term connection to the school (i.e., alumni engagement).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with three years of directly related experience working with students in an academic advisor or academic program setting.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in education or related fields from an accredited college or university with student academic advising experience is highly desired.
KNOWLEDGE
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.
SKILLS
Excellent organizational, problem solving, customer service, interpersonal, multi-tasking, organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
ABILITIES
Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines despite often interruptions, maintain confidentiality, keep accurate records and make independent decisions. Comprehension of academic guidelines and policies. Must be highly self-motivated and be able to work independently. Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with various internal and external constituents.
