About the Function-
Our Sales team love building relationships, connecting with customers to sell our much-loved brands in new and vibrant markets where they can thrive. They help sell our iconic brands across 180 countries every year.

About the role
Do you have the desire to establish and grow the best spirits portfolio in the world across the most influential on trade venues and groups in Ireland?
Do you want to not only implement great brand plans, but crucially work collaboratively with top customers to develop your own ideas for our brands and bring them to life?
Do you have the skills to delight these customers commercially while still delivering a margin enhancing proposition for Diageo?

You will report to the Head of Spirits, with direct responsibility for the spirits portfolio performance in most influential customers and strategic Groups across the On-Trade Channel.

In this role, you will:

• Win sustainable market share of spirits: Grow share of spirits disproportionately.
• Win spirits share commercially in the top outlets and groups across Ireland: Build and execute the commercial investment strategy.
• Lead the spirits growth plan in key strategic groups through brilliant head office engagement and relationship management.
• Be the best partner through amazing engagement and activation: Collaborate with Strategic On-Trade operators to implement programs & develop tailored activity & events. Work alongside and with the current sales team to deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Amplify our brands: Collaborate with local and global brand and distillery teams to develop high impact brand projects for the portfolio).
• Brand Advocacy: Devise and implement a commercial brand strategy to generate brand love across key on trade influencers and bar tenders in the top venues in Ireland with custom brand training and engagement.
• Lead M&E activity to ensure we are constantly improving our plans.

Experience / skills required

• High level spirits knowledge
• Strong commercial drive and commercial curiosity
• Proven brand development and activation experience
• Analytical and core selling skills.
• Can build powerful relationships and work collaboratively within a team.
