QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Splunk Developer or in a similar role.
- Splunk certification(s) relevant to the developer’s area of expertise (e.g., Splunk Certified Developer).
- Strong understanding of Splunk architecture and search processing.
- Proficiency in SPL (Search Processing Language) and custom SPL commands.
- Experience with Splunk data models, event types, and tags.
- Knowledge of Splunk Enterprise Security and IT Service Intelligence.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for Splunk integration.
- Experience with Splunk REST API for automation and integration.
- Understanding of Splunk best practices for data onboarding and retention.
- Previous experience with Splunk app development.
- Knowledge of Splunk clusters and high-availability configurations.
