Employee Contract Type: Local - Fixed Term Employee (Fixed Term) Job Description: MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Defending and promoting organizational ethos, values and practices, such as protection of children, reporting cases of abuse made by staff or other persons according to reference documents of WV Sierra Leone Office. Day-to-day capturing of Registered Children’s monitoring and participation information in Horizon to ensure all Registered Children are present and participating in World Vision programs, activities, and green rating on Child Monitoring Standards (CMS) report. Day-to-day use of child sponsorship systems and mechanisms to check, verify and update in Horizon the accuracy and completeness of all Registered Children’s data and information captured or received from partners and volunteers. Generate, analyze and share weekly Area Program Horizon Management reports with Cluster Programme Manager and team, Sponsorship Coordinator and Sponsorship Manager) and develop action plans on addressing issues from the report (RC shortfall, Partnership Holds and overdue Introductory Letters, SO/Sponsor Queries). Maintain effective Registered Child (RC) management quota (Budgeted plus 2% RCs) and share Area Program Horizon Management reports with Cluster Program and Sponsorship Managers throughout the fiscal year. Timely reporting and dropping of Registered Children’s deaths through the sponsorship Death Report database for better accountability to sponsors. Capture, process and upload all agreed annual sponsorship 2.0 products (Child and community contents) for effective sponsor communication and retention. Generate, analyze and share monthly Horizon Management reports to Cluster Programme Manager, PME staff, and Sponsorship Manager. Maintain security and privacy of child sponsorship systems and Registered Children’s data and ensure transmission of system data is in accordance with the standards and procedures of World Vision IT policies. Support timely implementation of all new partnership initiatives on child sponsorship, system upgrades, audit recommendations and evaluation activities as required. Support orientation, basic training and share updates on Horizon (Hope) processes to staff and as permitted and necessary, with community Child monitors, so that all are familiar with changes and with requirements that are compatible with the system. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE Certificate in Information Technology or Database management. Diploma in computing, statistics or relevant social sciences is desired. Three or more years’ experience in working with WVSL sponsorship environment of data capture, analysis and management High level computer skills Analytical and critical mind Good communication skills Able to and interpret statistics and produce reports. Strong passion for children and their wellbeing Good at details and meticulous Good understanding of child protection and child rights issues Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities. Willingness to live and work in difficult and challenging terrains and communities. Perform other duties as required.
