Description This role is essential to bringing GasTech’s engineered designs to life. The Welder is responsible for performing high-quality welding on pressure-containing piping and structural assemblies that form the backbone of our process equipment. Working from engineering drawings and specifications, this position transforms plans into durable, code-compliant welded assemblies that meet strict quality and safety standards. Using qualified welding procedures, approved consumables, and established production schedules, the Welder plays a critical role in delivering reliable equipment on time and to specification. Precision, consistency, and attention to detail are key to success in this role. Through skilled workmanship and a commitment to excellence, this position helps elevate the GasTech Manufacturing Department as one of the most respected process equipment teams in the industry—and a trusted partner to the clients we serve. Requirements Stable work history 5 years Plus experience Great Attitude and willing to help get our product out timely and with 100% quality Pipe Test - 6G- 45º Vertical up without backing gas 2” Schedule 160 Carbon Steel Pipe Root, Hot pass and cap all GTAW (aka Tig) The test will be visually inspected onsite by a certified welding inspector per ASME Section XI QW-302.4, once visual accepted it will also be radiographically tested per QW-191. Must be able to work overtime possible weekends Vessel shop experience is highly recommended Fitting experience Tools and Safety Gear
