This role is classified as Level 3 role under SBS Australia’s current Enterprise Agreement (with a base salary range of $86,966 – 94,129). The successful applicant will be offered remuneration that is commensurate with their skills and experience and in alignment with this framework.

The Department

The Role
The Business & Production Coordinator is responsible for the daily coordination of a variety of administrative, financial and production tasks and includes regular collaboration with other team members. This role coordinates the efficient and consistent delivery of high quality live and recorded content.

In this role you will:

  • Manage budgets, track expenses, process invoices in Oracle, and handle expense submissions in Concur.
  • Coordinate production logistics, including technical bookings, call sheets, and staff rostering, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Support the Head of Commercial & Operations with license agreements, IBMS deal maintenance, contractor agreements, and casual employee onboarding.
  • Contribute to forward planning, scheduling, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, offering advice on production models and cost-effective solutions.
  • Organise facilities bookings for studios, editing, and other services, and oversee content delivery for both digital and linear platforms using xyTech.
  • Collaborate with the Sport Media Coordinator on live stream and broadcast event requirements.
  • Serve as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to communicate accurate production plans and achieve successful outcomes.

About you

We are looking for someone who brings:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a production or facilities role within a broadcast environment.
  • Experience with finance and rights management systems Oracle and IBMS is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to take initiative and meet deadlines.
  • Solid written & verbal communication skills (Excel, Word, etc).
