WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are seeking a Sport Officer, Elite Sport to join Office of the Vice-President (Administration) and University Registrar, Administrative Division.
The Sport Officer, Elite Sport is responsible for providing support and services to all elite sport students studying at QUT, while also ensuring QUT maintains its status as a ‘Gold’ member of the Elite Sport Education Network (ESEN). The role is required to support the development and roll out of QUT’s elite sport student resource support, professional development, performance support, and connection activities determined by the Sport Performance Lead and ensure strong systematic and efficient processes are in place to enable student sportspeople to navigate the academic journey with ease. This will include meeting the program delivery requirements for academic flexibility, tailored support and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The role is expected to develop strong and cohesive relationships with the wider sporting team, university faculty support staff and external sport education managers to ensure student sportspeople have opportunities to play and engage in sport while balancing elite sporting commitments and university studies.
