Description Our spring break and summer camp program is looking for enthusiastic, dedicated individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors. In this role, you’ll lead and support campers ages 6–12 as they participate in a variety of sports activities. We’re seeking candidates who genuinely enjoy working with children and are excited about teaching, encouraging, and helping young athletes develop their skills in a fun, positive environment. March 23-27 for Iowa spring break and June 1 through August 21 for summer camp Hours Between 7:00am and 6:00pm Responsibilities: Lead and give guidance to campers in various sports activities Ensure the safety of all campers while having fun Solve problems and be self-motivated Give guidance to other counselors when assistance is needed Give instructions to an assistant counselor and communicate campers’ behavior Arrive early to prep for daily activities Work with other counselors to ensure equipment is safely stored Requirements Genuine love for children and enjoy teaching and helping improve camper's skills in sports Ability to lead and give guidance to campers aged 6 to 12 years old Must be 16 years of age or older Demonstrates high energy and passion for sport Be able to work inside and outside in different elements Be able to lift 50 pounds Ability to solve problems and be self-motivated Ability to pass a background check First Aid and CPR Training needed or will need to be completed by June 1, 2025 for all counselors to have by the first day of camp If you are passionate about working with children and enjoy sports, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our campers.
