This is a part-time position with no benefits. We are seeking to fill multiple openings for Sports Field Monitors to monitor facilities for adult sports games for City programs and rental groups. Applicants must be committed, dependable, able to communicate with customers, and able to handle customer service issues. Selected individuals will be required to work mornings, weeknights, and weekends. We have multiple openings at HAWS Athletics Center. Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma/GED and no experience required; or One (1) year of related maintenance/customer service/athletics experience can be substituted for High School Diploma; or High School student at least 16 years of age Completion of City of Fort Worth Sports Rules and Regulations training The Sports Field Monitor - Adult Athletics job responsibilities include: Manage small crowds Ensure that games stay on schedule, keep score and maintain records pertaining to games, distribute and collect all equipment used during games Set-up and clean up after games Keep the game fields clean of debris Ensure rules and regulations for both games and facilities are followed and provide effective communication to the spectators, coaches, players, and officials Perform other related duties as required Working Conditions and Physical Demand Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically require touching, talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions. Medium work – Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects Apply Now!
