We are seeking a skilled Sports Medicine Specialist to join our healthcare team in Saudi Arabia. This role involves providing expert care in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of sports-related injuries to athletes and active individuals. The ideal candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and promote optimal athletic performance. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions. Develop personalized treatment and rehabilitation plans tailored to each patient’s needs. Collaborate with physical therapists, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care. Educate patients on injury prevention, recovery protocols, and overall wellness. Perform non-surgical interventions such as injections when appropriate. Stay updated with the latest advances in sports medicine, particularly in the context of Saudi Arabia’s sporting environment. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records. Participate in community outreach and sports health promotion activities. Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution. Completion of residency training in Sports Medicine, Orthopedics, or a related field. Board certification or equivalent credentials in Sports Medicine. Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in sports medicine, preferably with experience in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region. Strong understanding of regional sports health challenges and cultural considerations. Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Valid medical license to practice in Saudi Arabia is preferred or willingness to obtain one.
