Job Details Job Location: San Francisco, CA 94132 Position Type: Seasonal Salary Range: $28.00 - $30.00 Hourly Dates: June 8 – August 21, 2026 Training Week: June 8–12 Prep Period: May 11 – June 5 (up to 10 hrs/week) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM – 4:30 PM Pay Rate: $28–$30/hour Position Overview: The Sports Specialist will design and facilitate active, team-based games and sports activities throughout the camp day. Ideal candidates are energetic, flexible, and have experience coaching youth in a variety of recreational sports. Key Responsibilities: Plan and lead structured physical activities and team sports Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill-building Incorporate a variety of games such as ultimate frisbee, flag football, gym-style games, and field sports Ensure camper safety and injury prevention during all physical activity Collaborate with counselors to support camper engagement and behavior Qualifications Qualifications: Experience coaching or teaching youth sports Strong understanding of age-appropriate physical games and recreation Ability to adapt activities to meet a range of camper needs and energy levels
