JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Sports Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to supporting individuals in their health journey, providing therapeutic interventions and home exercise advice. The Therapist will work collaboratively with the chiropractors to manage patients in order to achieve the best results. The therapist should be confident in developing personalised treatment plans, utilising a variety of techniques in order to best suit the patients needs.

QAULIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • A recognised qualification in sports therapy / sports massage.
  • Strong work ethic
  • Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and modalities is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, ensuring clarity in documentation and client interactions.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with best practices in musculoskeletal care.

    Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ needs and establish therapeutic goals.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on clients’ unique circumstances and preferences.
  • Provide one-on-one sports therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities, including manual soft tissue techiniques and other supportive techniques that could include IASTM, Cupping, Re-hab programmes etc.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Monitor clients’ progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and support for clients.
  • Contribute to clinic social media page.
