WMDT is seeking a creative sports journalist to join our local sports department. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Write, shoot and edit engaging sports content
• Establish and maintain key contacts for covering local sports
• Produce content for all platforms including broadcast, web and social media

Degree in Media Production or Communication preferred but will consider related experience. Weekend hours will be required. Must be flexible with schedule. Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Panasonic equipment preferred but will train the right individual. Please: No telephone calls.
