Description Essential to operations, trailer spotters operate a tractor at one of our facilities to move trailers from location to location on the property. While a class A CDL license is not required, trailer spotters are expected to pull long trailers around property and position them safely for loading/unloading by backing them into tightly spaced loading docks. Excellent driving skills, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail are required—higher pay based on skills and experience. Requirements Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Move, spot, and stage trailers in yard and dock areas Back trailers into loading docks accurately and safely Perform pre- and post-operation inspections Verify trailer numbers and readiness Follow all safety policies and yard procedures Communicate with shipping, receiving, and supervisors Maintain a safe, organized yard Qualifications: Trailer spotting or tractor-trailer experience preferred Strong safety awareness and attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively Reliable attendance Physical Requirements: Ability to climb in and out of trucks and trailers Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist throughout shift Ability to wear required PPE Benefits Include: Major medical, dental, and vision 401(k) Paid holidays and paid vacation Work Environment: Industrial/manufacturing yard and dock areas; exposure to weather, moving equipment, and noise.
