Spray Painter (Painter A) – 1st Shift – Salina, KS We are currently seeking a 1st Shift Painter A (Spray Painter) for our new paint system at our Construction Equipment facility in Salina, KS. This position works Monday - Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., plus overtime on Fridays, as required. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: * Paint parts to required specifications * Use paint gun, ladder, air gun and any other tools necessary to perform the job * Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations * Wear prescribed safety and PPE as required * Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment Preferred Skills and Qualifications: * Knowledge of paint processes helpful * Must have specific vision abilities to include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception * Ability to physically perform the job * Ability to pass the required respirator test to wear a paint respirator * Ability to follow inventory control procedures * Ability to give strong attention to detail and stay on-task * Have a good understanding of team concepts and be a strong team player * Ability to safely use hand and power tools; ability to read blueprints and tape measure, when needed At Great Plains Manufacturing, our people make the difference, making our company a great place to work and grow.
