REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a spray painter, preferably in the signage or related industry (automotive, metal fabrication, etc.).
  • Familiarity with various types of paints and coatings (e.g., polyurethane, acrylic, automotive-grade paints).
  • Ability to read work orders, colour codes, and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce a high-quality finish.
  • Knowledge of proper surface preparation techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift materials as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in spray painting is a plus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working in the signage or display manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with modern spray painting systems and colour-matching technologies.
  • Basic understanding of signage materials and fabrication processes.

    Pay: Up to AED2,250.00 per mont
Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces of signage materials (e.g., aluminium, acrylic, metal, PVC) by sanding, priming, cleaning, and masking as required.
  • Mix and apply paints, primers, and finishes using spray guns or other painting equipment.
  • Follow paint specifications based on signage design requirements (colour codes, textures, finishes).
  • Ensure consistent coating quality, including colour match, smoothness, and thickness.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning spray guns and tools after use.
  • Monitor drying processes and perform quality checks to identify and fix defects (e.g., runs, drips, or uneven coats).
  • Assist in maintaining stock of paint materials and report low inventory.
  • Follow health and safety regulations, particularly regarding ventilation, protective equipment, and flammable substances.
  • Collaborate with designers, fabricators, and installers to ensure seamless integration of painted components.
