The Opportunity
An exciting full-time opportunity has become available at PACCAR Australia for Qualified and experienced Spray Painters to work either day or afternoon shift. This role will involve undertaking all routine tasks in rub down preparation, masking and spray painting of cabs and chassis according to company quality standards and procedures.

About You

• Previous experience painting in the automotive industry
• Have a Trade-qualified Automotive Spray Painter (Cert III or equivalent).
• Previous experience spray-painting heavy vehicles, trucks, or trailers preferred.
• Skilled in surface prep, colour matching, and achieving a high-quality finish.
• Ability to diagnose and advise resolution of paint quality issues
• Safety conscious with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work autonomously as well as a member of a team
• Works in an orderly, clean, and safe manner
