There is no feeling like it! The Opportunity:   We’re looking for Bike/Trail Camp Leaders for our Spring Break Camps. There are 2 separate Camp Leader roles; the Camp Manager and the Camp Supervisor.  Here’s how each job plays a role:  Camp Supervisor * Camp Supervisors will be primarily teaching their own group of 5-6 campers; however, they will also assist the Camp Manager with various operational responsibilities around their assigned camp.  Camp Manager * Pedalheads Camp Managers are responsible for managing all activities at their respective camps  WORK DATES:   * March 16 - 20 * March 23 - 27 LOCATIONS: Please note, locations are subject to change. If applicable, you will be notified of the new location once determined. * Brentwood - Brentwood Park Alliance Church  * South Burnaby / New West - Location TBD * Como Lake - Queen of All Saints School * Main & 23rd - David Livingstone Elementary * North Vancouver - Brockton Preparatory School (Bike & Trail available) * Oakridge - Dr. Annie B. Jamieson Elementary * Point Grey - Jericho Hill Centre (Bike & Trail available) * Richmond - Richmond Baptist Church  * Walnut Grove - Alex Hope Elementary * White Rock - H.T. Thrift Elementary WAGE:   * Camp Supervisors, $18.60 /hour * Camp Managers, $20.00 - $25.00 /hour   What you’d be responsible for:  Camp Supervisors * Program Quality Control:  When not teaching a class of their own, the Camp Supervisor will go around and help Level 1 campers get off their training wheels, as well as assist all children to ensure they meet their biking goals.  They will also lead our daily morning and afternoon camp wide ice breaker games (Get Going games)   * Customer Service: Camp Supervisors will always be willing to go the extra mile to engage customers and provide excellent service to all parents at camp through consistent check-ins with parents at sign in and out   * Operations: Camp Supervisors will manage equipment and supplies for their site and by leading the daily morning and afternoon set-up of camp equipment, they will ensure the quality and appearance of their camp remains high throughout the whole day.  Camp Managers * Program Management: Ensure that program delivery and safety standards are maintained, and that every participant has a positive and rewarding experience at Pedalheads. This will require lots of hands-on involvement in teaching the kids * Human Resources/Employee Relations: manage Camp Supervisors, Instructors, and Volunteers, mentoring and motivating your team * Customer Service: Be willing to go the extra mile to engage customers and provide excellent customer service. * Administration- Assist with on-camp registration and processing payments for product sales.     Skills, Knowledge and Experience:  Here are some of the skills/ specifics and experience that are important for this role:  * Coaching or instructing experience with children of all ages; youth ages 13 through 24 for Camp Managers * Highly organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic * Takes pride in the quality of their work and the programming provided at their camp * Criminal record check required for ages 18+  * Hold or willing to get a current first aid certificate * You have access to a bike and helmet and are able to ride a bike proficiently   Our Commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion   Pedalheads is committed to creating and upholding a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment that is respectful and welcoming to everyone. Responsibilities
