Wesley Health & Wellness Center March 6th-March 13th- Seasonal Position $15hr Primary Purpose: Wesley Counselor will assist programming staff during Camp Wesley program at the designated location. This camp provides organized team and individual health and wellness activities for children. Essential Duties: * Assist Recreation & Enrichment program staff. * Follow guidelines, policies, and procedures, established by the organization, codes of conduct, dress, and decorum. * Assist camp staff and all groups and camp-wide activities and events. * Complete all necessary safety training to include: (first aid, CPR, Child protection training, food handling, etc.) * Assist with keeping track of group lists and activity schedules. * Participate in staff meetings. * Assist with the supervision of campers to ensure that health and safety remain a priority. * Initiate and maintain a sound working relationship with other camp personnel. * Eat meals with campers and encourage healthy eating and exercise habits. * Supports distribution of programming resources. * Cheerfully comply with unanticipated assignments and remain flexible for contingency plans. Other work as assigned by the Program Manager. * Performs other duties as assigned.
