OVERVIEW

Under limited supervision participates in the inventory, preparation and service of Snack Bar operations while ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures and standards of quality and safety.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledgeable of DHEC, ServSafe and SC laws and regulations
  • Able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have open availability Monday - Thursday, Sunday
  • Requires high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by one to two years of food and beverage experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • ServSafe Food Handler Certification; will train
  • ServSafe Alcohol Certification: will train
  • Current CPR, First Aid, AED certifications and Child Abuse prevention training; will train
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be 21 years of age or older to prepare, serve, and sell alcohol

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be physically able to operate a variety of kitchen appliances, equipment and utensils, etc. Must be able to exert up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Physical demands are in excess of those for sedentary work; must be able to remain on feet for extended periods of time, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and lift/carry weights of up to twenty-five pounds and must be able to ascend and descend stairs
