Escape is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sprinkler Estimator to join our expanding small projects team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for fire sprinkler systems across tenant improvements, residential and retrofit projects. Success in this position requires a solid understanding of fire protection system design, materials and applicable codes. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in fire protection estimating, a working knowledge of sprinkler system design principles, sharp attention to detail, the ability to interpret construction documents and excellent communication skills with a collaborative team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities
  • Review tender packages, specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates for tenant improvements, residential and retrofit projects.
  • Perform material take-offs and prepare scope of work and pricing breakdowns
  • Solicit pricing from suppliers and subcontractors to support bid development
  • Work with management, project managers, designers and field staff to ensure estimating aligns with project requirements
  • Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and coordinate with contractors and clients as needed
  • Track and manage bid submissions, revisions, and follow-ups
  • Identify value engineering opportunities and alternative solutions
  • Maintain and update historical cost databases and unit pricing for future estimates
  • Other duties as assigned.
