We are currently seeking an experienced Sprinkler Fitter Foreman to join our Garden City, KS team!
The right candidate will be highly detailed oriented, accurate and organized; a self-starter who possess strong initiative to improve processes and procedures without waiting for specific instructions. This person will ensure a high-quality standard and consistency of service in their position in accordance to Central Consolidated standards providing the customer with an exceptional experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for bringing jobs in on time and at or under budget
  • Coordinate Construction Work according to Priorities and Plans
  • Producing Schedules and Monitoring Attendance of Crew
  • Safety practices at job site
  • Allocating General and Daily Responsibilities
  • Submitting Daily Reports
  • Ensure the acquisition, distribution, & safe keeping of the Tools
  • Supervise and train workers
  • Resolve problems when they arise
  • Report progress to managers, engineers, etc.
  • Turn in time for crew daily
  • Coordinate/schedule material deliveries
  • Establish project contacts (GC’s, other trades, vendors, etc.)
  • Get approval for lay down areas and on-site storage PRIOR to material delivery
  • Check work area, tools, and equipment for safety concerns. Notify your Project Manager of any concerns.
  • Attend all project meetings as required (Notify Project Manager, immediately of any Scope, RFI’s and schedule changes)
  • Coordinate installation with other trades
  • Track all material. Ensure a Purchase Order is created for all material orders
  • Schedule lift and equipment deliveries and removal (notify your PM of type, duration, and dates so cost can be properly tracked)
  • Visualize your installation and make sure key elements are on site or scheduled for delivery
  • Qualify the next day’s work and beyond: Material is complete and on site, required tools and equipment on site, coordinate work with owner’s representative in existing facilities
  • Once a system is activated, notify the GC or property owner of emergency shut down and draining procedures (For Fire Division)
  • Schedule tests with AHJ (For Fire Division)
  • Maximize apprentice training exposure
  • Conduct or attend job box safety and informational skills
  • Daily project reports completed in Keystyle

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma, required.
  • Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
  • Must have good reading, writing and arithmetic skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop; kneel and crouch.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust and focus.
  • The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme temperatures.
