We’re seeking a Sprinkler Technician in Edmonton, AB, you’ll be responsible for inspecting, installing, and repairing sprinkler systems, standpipe systems, fire pumps, backflow preventers, and fire hydrants in accordance with local and national fire codes. You’ll collaborate closely with Service Coordinators and be available for rotational on-call emergency services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly to the Sprinkler Supervisor.
  • Maintain required certifications and safety training.
  • Be available for emergency call-outs on a rotational basis.
  • Participate in new product or service training and safety meetings.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completed high school diploma
  • Possess a “Red Seal” certification.
  • 3 to 5 years of direct industry experience.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to schedule changes.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and good judgment.
  • Strong organization and time management abilities.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving abstract.
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Perform service orders for inspections, installations, repairs, and product sales promptly.
  • Communicate any unexpected changes in work order schedules to Service Coordinators or the Sprinkler Supervisor.
  • Thoroughly test and ensure equipment functionality before leaving the shop or customer location.
  • Provide daily feedback on service orders and inspections to Service Coordinators.
  • Submit completed paperwork accurately and promptly for proper customer billing.
  • Document deficiencies and propose repairs to Service Coordinators.
