SPRINKLER SERVICE ENGINEER

Hours: 08:30am 17:00pm
Location: Field Based, office based in Orpington
Salary Range: £40,000 - £45,000
Contract type: Permanent

Were looking for a skilled and dependable engineer who shares our commitment to safety and service excellence. You’ll bring:

  • Extensive experience working with both residential and commercial sprinkler systems
  • Strong understanding of wet and dry risers
  • Confidence in working independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with system changeovers and fire alarm interfaces
  • Good working knowledge of BS EN12845 and BS EN9251 standards
  • A mechanical mindset and a hands-on, practical approach to problem solving
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A full UK driving licence (essential)

Responsibilities

YOUR NEXT ROLE

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Fire Sprinkler Engineer to join our growing team. This field-based role involves daily travel to client sites across both commercial and residential properties, carrying out the servicing and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems, including wet and dry risers.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing, testing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems
  • Supporting our Managers on site
  • Interpreting technical drawings and following written instructions
  • Producing clear and detailed service reports, noting any faults or recommended remedial works
  • Maintaining communication with the office team, providing regular updates on completed works
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely, with full PPE and in line with Health & Safety regulations
  • Representing Senseco with professionalism and excellent customer service
