We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated individuals to work as Band 7 level clinical nurse specialists within the Scottish Pulmonary Vascular Unit. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure that high quality, safe, effective, person-centred care is delivered for patients with pulmonary hypertension. Your role involves working with both inpatients and outpatients and at two sites, the Golden Jubilee National Hospital and the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. You will also be involved in outreach clinics in Edinburgh and Aberdeen. We are looking for trained nurses with specialist knowledge and experience who have the skills and competencies to manage a complex caseload and to work across traditional professional or service boundaries. Previous experience in pulmonary hypertension is desirable but not essential as training can be provided
