Overview We are looking for a skilled SQA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software platform. In this role, you will work closely with our development and product teams to design, execute, and automate tests that help us deliver a bug-free, user-friendly product to our customers. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for quality, an eye for detail, and a desire to contribute to a culture of excellence. Responsibilities Test Planning & Execution: Design and execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans for new features and bug fixes. Automation: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency and improve our CI/CD pipeline. Bug Reporting & Tracking: Document and track software defects in our bug tracking system (e.g., Jira), providing clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports. Regression Testing: Ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality by performing thorough regression tests. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and designers to understand product requirements and ensure quality is built into the development process. System Knowledge: Have efficient ways to document and track system behavior. Does not have to be a system expert but must be very knowledgeable. Process Improvement: Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving our QA processes, tools, and overall software development lifecycle. Qualifications 3-4 years of experience as an SQA Engineer or similar role. Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and QA methodologies. Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). Proficiency in a programming or scripting language, such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby. Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail. A proactive, self-starter attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow. A basic understanding of the hospitality industry and related technology is a plus. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
