REQUIREMENTS

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer/Electrical Engineering or related fields. An emphasis on healthcare or financial reporting preferred. • Experience with Microsoft stack (MSSQL Server / T-Sql, VSO on-line, etc) • Experience with SQL: ability to run, modify/write queries • Strong quantitative, analytic, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Experience in Python is preferred• Demonstrated success in project team environment • Proactive, with strong analytical, team, time management, and project management skills • Willing to learn, adapt and adopt new technologies as needed in testing frameworks • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and communicate well within all levels of the organization
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye – hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eye sight to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Lifting of equipment not to exceed 20 pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT: •Work is normally performed in the office work environment, although some virtual work is permissible • Very limited physical effort required

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

We are looking for a SQL Application Developer who brings a strong understanding of MS SQL Server or other database technologies to contribute to all phases of the database development life cycle, including ETL efforts, to support our primary application. This position will focus on SQL coding and software development, SQL design specifications, SQL data logic, and SQL testing against healthcare related datasets for optimal SaaS performance in a multitenant application. The successful candidate will join a well-formed and productive team implementing the components of a cloud-based system, focused on writing code to sustain our primary application and assist in the creation of new features.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform analytic SQL design and development of data processing logic to support healthcare outcome measures and KPIs
• Effectively write SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures
• Establish SQL/XML data extraction routines for medical data
• Optimize and tune data queries and jobs for meeting best practices
• Resolve run time bugs, error messages, maintain/fix SSIS packages
• Perform related work as assigned
