Description

The SQL Conversion Developer is primarily responsible for converting and migrating client’s existing data from their legacy system to Tyler Enterprise Jury Manager application. The Conversion Developer simultaneously works on multiple projects performing data analysis and development of programs/scripts of varying complexities. The resource provides support to Tyler staff as well as clients to provide high-quality and accurate migrated data to allow Tyler software functions to execute as expected for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute queries to migrate client data in SQL on AWS platform.
  • Learn, use, and maintain an established set of internal tools and other technologies as necessary.
  • Analyze legacy database structures and translate them into the Enterprise Jury Manager target schemas.
  • Participate in gathering and assessment of business requirements with implementation staff, project managers, and clients.
  • Perform intermediate troubleshooting of conversion logic.
  • Perform data verification and balancing of values between old and new systems.
  • Stay current with technologies and current database concepts.
  • Performance tuning on data migration queries
  • Write ETL solutions that are durable and reusable.
  • Manage workload to meet deadlines and communicates status regularly with the team.
  • Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field or relevant work experience
  • Ability to work well within a deadline-oriented development structure.
  • Ability to work well both independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong technical abilities and desire to learn new things.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytic thinking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication skill, teamwork and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Microsoft SQL Server
  • AWS experience a plus
  • Understanding database structures, how to create databases, import and export data in and out of a database (i.e. SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
  • Ability to quickly learn the business processes and software functionality.
  • Adept at communicating technical challenges with non-technical resources including end user.
  • Learn new technologies and concepts quickly.
  • Demonstrate ability to analyze and resolve problems of medium complexity with some guidance.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python a plus

State-Specific Salary Range Disclosure Requirements
Salary will generally fall between $46,185 - $75,000 before adjustment for geographic differences. Recruiter can confirm if position is incentive eligible.
