Responsibilities
  • Database Administration : Manage, monitor, and optimize SQL Server databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Azure Database Management : Implement, configure, and maintain Azure SQL solutions, including Azure SQL Database and Managed Instances.
  • Support & Troubleshooting : Provide technical support for database-related issues, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and implement best practices.
  • Migrations & Upgrades : Plan and execute database migrations from on-premises to Azure or between Azure environments.
  • Consulting & Advisory : Work closely with client technical teams to provide strategic guidance and solutions related to SQL and Azure database technologies.
  • Security & Compliance : Ensure database security, implement access controls, and maintain compliance with industry standards.
  • Automation & Optimisation : Leverage automation tools and scripts to improve database efficiency and reduce manual intervention
