Build and maintain security controls: access management, encryption, auditing, retention, and compliance safeguards.
Document everything that matters — runbooks, architecture, recovery procedures, change records.
Work closely with engineering, infrastructure, data, AI/ML, and DFIR teams to support safe, well-governed platform changes.
Tech StackPython, Go (Golang), SQL, BashEssential Requirements~2 years' hands-on experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar data platform/operations role.
Solid SQL and DBA fundamentals — comfortable troubleshooting and analysing performance issues independently.
Exposure to database security practices: privileged access, backup/restore, disaster recovery, data lifecycle management.
Some scripting ability to automate routine admin and health checks.
Bonus: familiarity with cloud-hosted relational or analytical data platforms.
Strong written communication and a methodical approach to change management.
Candidates must hold Irish/EU Citizenship and live within a commutable distance to Dublin.
