SQL Server Database Developer and Administrator:

• You will work with a team in designing, developing and implementing technical solutions using SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers
• Optimize database performance
• Create complex functions and stored procedures
• Analyze queries, develop security protocols, and resolve problems
• Write complex queries for applications and business intelligence reporting
• You have a passion for Microsoft technology
• You will help our client in maintaining on premise and transitioning applications to the cloud
• You have solid Microsoft stack skills
• You are curious, proactive and like getting the optimal results together with the team
• You will work with a team in designing, developing and implementing technical solutions in Microsoft environments
• You have a passion for Microsoft technology; specifically in helping our client in maintaining traditional .Net On-Premises systems and the transition of those systems to modern frameworks and cloud-native solutions
• You will participate with team members in the analysis and design of software solutions
• Openly share your skills and knowledge with others on the team
• You are experienced in enterprise software development using the Microsoft technology stack

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen or Green Card required
• Bachelor’s degree
• Required Work Experience: 3 years w/Bachelors Degree
• Hybrid position requiring onsite office hours in the Washington D.C. or Chicago offices
• Ability to manage and work independently alongside a larger team
• Ability to solve problems and learn business rules and processes

Technical Skills:

• 3+ years SQL Server Development, Management and Administration
• Experience developing complex applications with common frameworks using the Microsoft Technical Stack: SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server, Stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers
• Experience with systems with multiple integration points, distributed architecture, multiple concurrent users or receiving and processing sensitive data
• Experience developing software using Agile methodologies
