SQL/VBA PROGRAMMER:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a SQL/VBA Programmer for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

SQL/VBA PROGRAMMER - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The project involves supporting the Global Regulatory Compliance program by bridging the gap between business and technology. The role includes customizing and building solutions, generating reports, and handling documentation within the constraints of technology.

SQL/VBA PROGRAMMER - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• 2 years of experience in SQL/VBA programming
• Experience in creating presentation decks
• Requirements management skills
• Ability to execute and minimally create code

SQL/VBA PROGRAMMER – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Knowledge of technology architecture
• Experience with MS Office tools such as SharePoint, PowerBI, Excel, Access

• Assist in daily activities involving both business and technology aspects
• Create, edit, proof-read, and format requirements documents
• Work with stakeholders to clarify requirements and generate reports
• Customize/create quick queries using SQL/VBA
• Support Sr. Manager in liaising between business and technology
• Help with mini projects, report creation, and data extraction
• Serve as backup for running reports and completing ad hoc requests
