The centre delivers healthcare services to over 6,500 RAAF members and includes primary medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, and mental health care. As a Dental Assistant, you’ll work alongside Dentists, Specialists, and Hygienists to support the delivery of high-quality dental care for Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel. In this role, you will: Provide chair-side assistance to Dentists and Specialists in the delivery of dental services Assist with administrative duties including updating patient records Support oral health promotion and education for patients Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dental surgery in line with protocols Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture focused on patient care To be successful in this role, you’ll need: Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent nationally recognised qualification At least 2 years of recent experience (full-time equivalent) within the last 5 years Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certification Evidence of recent Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities Ability to deliver high-quality dental support in a clinical setting Are you ready to do important work that really matters?
