To learn more please visit www.serco.com/ahsc About the Role You will be responsible for providing chair-side assistance to the Dentist/Dental Specialist/Hygienist in the delivery of dental services to patients. You will also assist with administrative tasks such as entering/updating patient records as well as other duties as required by the Dentist including promotion of oral health to patients and maintaining optimal hygiene of the surgery. This is a permanent part time opportunity working Tuesday and Thursday. To be successful in this role, you will have: Australian Citizenship for Commonwealth Security Clearance purposes Certificate III in Dental Assisting or nationally recognised equivalent qualification. Minimum of 2 years (full time equivalent) experience within the last 5 years. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality care to patients within a dental surgery. About Enoggera Health Centre Enoggera Health Centre is located at Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane, and provides support to Gallipoli, Victoria, Bulimba, and Damascus Barracks. Established in 1908, this modern military base currently spans 600 hectares with approximately 8000 members. The largest base in South Queensland, it incorporates the Deployable Joint Force Headquarters, a major manoeuvre formation, local support facilities and a range of training facilities. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, surgical outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical services. This facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The standard operating hours of the centre are generally 0700-1630 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend shifts). About You You have a professional and friendly manner and enjoy interacting with patients and assisting the dental team with a range of support activities.
