OpenX, the world’s largest people-based advertising exchange, is seeking a Sr Account Executive to join our EMEA Buyer Development team and lead our growth across the region. This position will play a critical role in the expansion of the OpenX business at a time of hyper-growth for our company across Europe.
Reporting directly to the Director, Buyer Development EMEA, candidates should have a solid understanding of programmatic advertising and the broader advertising landscape, with experience working with brands and advertising agencies.
The Sr Account Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and activating programmatic deals from accounts within the entire region. They are solutions-oriented and are focused on monitoring key performance indicators to ensure partners’ success and satisfaction with our products, whilst driving revenue by identifying client growth opportunities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • 5-7 years of overall experience in ad tech or digital advertising
  • 1-3 years in a role selling into media agencies
  • Deep familiarity with ad tech, SSPs, DSPs, the programmatic landscape, and media supply chain
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present complex subjects in a simple and concise manner
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, with the ability to come into a common meeting place 1-2 times per month

  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively plan and manage working day structure whilst collaborating closely with Director, Buyer Dev EMEA

Responsibilities
  • Building relationships and driving revenue with assigned accounts that could include brands, agencies, agency trading desks (ATDs), consultancies and managed service providers. Established relationships with Publicis and IPG contacts would be beneficial.
  • Working closely with account teams at the top agencies throughout the region.
  • Developing deals that help advertisers connect with their target audiences and desired inventory across OpenX’s suite of premium publishers on Display/Video/CTV
  • Prospecting and connecting with potential buyers, deploying a discovery strategy and sales narrative designed to drive programmatic spend with OpenX
  • Providing ‘ground support’ to strategic global and regional deals by driving transactional local business and consistent deal-based revenue.
  • Managing a pipeline of opportunities in Salesforce and providing regular reporting to management on deal progress
