Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As we prepare for our very first product launch, we’re looking for an enthusiastic, sales-savvy professional based in the Boston area to lead the commercial efforts for our Countable PCR platform across the Eastern US. You’ll be at the forefront of introducing a new technology to market—bringing creativity, technical know-how, and genuine customer focus to every interaction. If you have experience selling new technologies, particularly in instrumentation and consumable sales, and you’re excited by the challenge of developing new business, we’d love to meet you. Experience in biopharma, especially with gene therapy or oncology applications, is a definite plus.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Discover & Close New Business: Identify and nurture leads, turning opportunities into lasting partnerships.
  • Be a Great Ambassador: Represent Countable Labs at meetings, demonstrations, and scientific conferences with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Build Lasting Relationships: Develop strong customer connections to ensure our products are used effectively, driving ongoing success post-sale.
  • Collaborate with Experts: Work hand-in-hand with our field application scientists and product managers during technical calls and demos.
  • Communicate Our Value: Ensure customers fully understand our unique value proposition, features, and competitive advantages, while also gathering feedback to help us continuously improve.
  • Track & Report: Provide monthly KPI updates and accurate sales forecasts for both instruments and consumables.
  • Manage Your Pipeline: Use SFDC to oversee all active leads, opportunities, and customer relationships, using dashboards to track progress.
  • You’ll initially report directly to our CEO, with a transition to the VP of Sales as our organization grows.
