We are headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, with regional KRAFTON offices located across the globe.
Our Amsterdam Office is KRAFTON’s EMEA Headquarters which covers the Europe, Middle East & Africa, and the CIS regions, with teams dedicated to Publishing, Esports, Content, Communications and General Operations. These teams support all local offices and development studios in our region.
Onsite, our Amsterdam Office also houses PUBG Studios which is busy with the development of an exciting new IP, currently known as Project “Black Budget”.
As a Sr. Accountant you will be part of KRAFTON’s EMEA Finance Team in Amsterdam. You will support our Finance operations for our offices in the EMEA region, overseeing and performing a variety of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
Month-end and Year-end Closing: Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, performing reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis, interpret variances, identify trends, and provide insightful recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
General Ledger Management: Oversee the general ledger, maintain chart of accounts, and ensure appropriate posting and classification of financial transactions.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with relevant members to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring actual performance against projections and analyzing variances.
Fixed Assets and Depreciation: Manage fixed asset accounting, calculate depreciation, and maintain accurate records of fixed asset acquisitions, disposals, and impairment.
Payroll and Benefits Accounting: Oversee payroll accounting, ensuring accurate recording of wages, benefits, and related payroll liabilities.
Financial System and Process Improvements: Identify opportunities for process automation and system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Supervision and Training: Provide guidance and support to members, conducting training sessions to enhance their skills and knowledge.
